A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Petit Verdot, this wine has delicate structure, with fine but persistent tannins and beautiful aromatics.

The Vintage: The work of the wine-grower was a constant in a year of turmoil, but the weather during this vintage turned our normally sweltering season on its head. The months of August and September were colder than anything we’ve experienced here in decades. Ripening was very slow, and we were well into October before we could harvest. Perhaps as a consequence of this slow, extended ripening, the wine has a rather extraordinary complexity, evolving for hours after opening a bottle. Only 50 cases made.
